1. Information We Collect

When you use ReadyAimApp, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account data — name, email address, and password.
  • Profile data — role, timezone, job search preferences (target position, location, salary range), and optional links (LinkedIn, portfolio, GitHub, personal website).
  • Job search data — job cards, company names, contacts, notes, application status, and related tasks you create.
  • Calendar & scheduling — events, coaching bookings, availability, and meeting details.
  • Documents & classroom — content you create or interact with in the library and classroom features.
  • Uploaded files — resumes, cover letters, and attachments you upload.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and operate the job search management platform.
  • Sync your calendar events with Google Calendar when you enable the integration.
  • Send notifications via in-app messages, email, or Slack based on your preferences.
  • Enable coaches and administrators to view job seeker progress as part of the coaching program.
  • Improve the service and fix issues.

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following services. Each handles data according to their own privacy policies:

  • Google — Sign-in, Google Calendar sync, and Google Meet integration. Calendar scopes are only requested when you explicitly enable calendar sync.
  • Zoom — Meeting link creation.
  • Slack — Event notifications to channels or direct messages.

We also use third-party providers for hosting, database, email delivery, and file storage. These providers process data solely to operate the Service on our behalf.

4. Data Sharing & Access

  • Role-based access — Coaches and administrators can view job seeker boards, progress, and calendar events as part of the coaching program.
  • Calendar privacy — You control how your Google Calendar events appear to others: full details, title and time only, or busy blocks only.
  • No sale of data — We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
  • We may share data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, secure password storage, and secure session management.

6. Your Rights & Choices

  • Disconnect Google, Zoom, or Slack integrations at any time from your Settings page.
  • Control your notification preferences (in-app, email, Slack) from Settings.
  • Set your Google Calendar privacy level to control what others can see.
  • Request export or deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Authentication — To keep you signed in and maintain your session.
  • Preferences — To remember your settings such as theme and notification preferences.

We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may prevent you from using the Service.

9. Google User Data

When you use Google to sign in or enable Google Calendar sync, we access the following data from your Google account:

  • Sign-in — Your name and email address, used for authentication.
  • Calendar events — Event titles, times, descriptions, locations, and attendees. This data is accessed only when you explicitly enable Google Calendar sync from your Settings page, and is used for two-way sync to prevent scheduling conflicts.
  • Meeting links — Google Meet links created for coaching events.

ReadyAimApp’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used solely to provide calendar sync and meeting features. It is not used for advertising or shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

Deleting Google data: You can disconnect Google Calendar from your Settings page at any time, which immediately removes all synced calendar data. You may also revoke access from your Google Account permissions page. If you delete your account, all Google-related data will be removed within 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
